I have found CBN to require very high pressure grinding carbide. Sounds like a wheel made out of carbide bits in a bond, Very unlike the swish of diamonds with coolant. Tried to use CBN wheel on Star CNC with oil coolant on carbide, the pressure dial went way up to slowly grind stock but leaving a ragged edge not smooth enough for the job.
